By the ICAAP Statute, individuals can become full ICAAP members if they meet the following criteria:
1) they are auditors who have been certified in accordance with the current Ukrainian legislation and have valid auditor's certificates,
2) or they are practicing accountants, or university lecturers, or other specialists who work in accounting and auditing and have received one of the Professional levels of certification in accordance with the Regulations on Voluntary Professional Certification of ICAAP Members,
3) they pay membership fees as defined by the decisions of the ICAAP governing bodies for full members - individuals under the Membership Regulations.
Applicants for the enrollment as the ICAAP associate members, at the time of documents' submission to ICAAP, should study the International Federation of Accountants' Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants, the ICAAP enrollment procedure, the ICAAP membership requirements (as defined by the ICAAP Statute and the Membership Regulations) as well as the membership fees payment procedure defined by the ICAAP governing bodies.
The enrollment to ICAAP is done based on a written application with attached documents, which has a pre-defined form for each category of ICAAP members. The applicant sends the application to a local ICAAP chapter or the ICAAP Executive Board (at the applicant's own decision).
The applicant has the right to be present at the ICAAP Membership Committee meeting when his/its enrollment is approved.
The enrollment decision is finalized no later than one month after the date of the applicant's application for the ICAAP membership registration.
